The look she shot him was pure amusement and she- with only a split-second of hesitation- slipped her arm in his to lead him away from the offensively empty display cases of the bakery and along the aisles. "Need I remind you that this is party thrown by teenagers?" she asked with a teasing little grin. "Much as it might wound your delicate sensibilities, I'm sure we can find something else. Cookies or cake. Cold pizza is a delicacy for these kids. Prepackaged cookies will seem positively ambrosial."
Wanda's search continued until she found the snack aisle and turned down it. She was clearly on the same wavelength as Tony when it came to finding something kosher, or at least holiday-related, as she continued past shelves of run-of-the-mill sweets packages to a section with a little sign that proudly proclaimed it's goods were "Ethnic!" A few seconds perusal of the display's contents had Wanda seriously doubting that the clerk who set up the aisle actually knew what that meant.
On an upper shelf she found a brightly colored box that proclaimed "Happy Hanukkah! Cookie Kit- Fun to make, great to eat!" The Crayola Crafty Cooking Kits logo didn't exactly lend the cookies a particularly legitimately ethnic air. Another look all around the box showed that there seemed to be no other Hannukah holiday treats, which Wanda found especially disheartening since this dessert would require preparation. Wanda took it down and examined it with a dubious expression before passing it to Tony for his opinion.
