As she relented, Tony allowed a slow exhale through his open mouth, then swallowed his heart again, admitting the bluff of his confidence. Sure, he could feel like he had the ultimate upper hand all he wanted, but it wasn't really worth much if he wasn't around anymore to reap the rewards. Looking into those green eyes was like staring down the barrel of a gun.
"Only a little," he managed to admit after a steadying breath, flashing her a quick grin as he twisted the top off of the vial and prepared the needle. "It's not quite a sai in the leg, but I'll take my revenges where I can get them." Syringe in his teeth, antiseptic swab in hand, he paused a moment to study her, trying to find some hint that she was just waiting for him to reach out to break his wrist. Like he could even begin to read her yet. When he did reach out, he took her hand first, then sat up straighter as he ran his hand up along her arm, thumb following the vein in her wrist up to the inside of her elbow.
"This will take approximately 42 days to metabolize," he explained once he had swabbed the soft skin and let the syringe drop into his hand. "Until then, I will know exactly where you are, have been, for how long, and I think how much you've had to drink, I don't know if they added that one yet." He wasn't going to baby her and warn her it was going to pinch or anything. She might just slap him for that.
