Crystal was out for a flight when she heard a noisy commotion coming from a building as she soared by. Swiftly, she turned around and headed towards the noise. Quite possibly whatever was going on wasn't any of her business, but it was also possible that someone was in trouble. If that was the case, Crystal would feel horrible if she discovered that someone had needed help and she had been right there and not done anything about it. Humans did that sort of thing, walking away when they saw people in need of aid, and Crystal absolutely was not human.
The sound led her to the open window of an apartment. Looking inside, Crystal saw one very distraught woman. Crystal knew full well that appearances could be deceiving and the fact that the woman appeared to be alone did not mean she was alone. However, Crystal did not need to rely on sight to discover the truth of the matter. No other working sets of lungs were nearby, so the woman was either alone or had company that did not need to breathe.
"Hello!" Crystal called out. "Has something happened to you? Are you in need of help?"
