Meanwhile...
Wanda searched the depths of the building; trying to find the place they were keeping Pietro. Though she would have liked to fight Wisdom herself, she knew that Pietro was her first priority. She had a surprisingly easy time at her search. The halls were practically deserted- apparently everyone else was responding to the alarms upstairs. Whenever she encountered anyone Wanda either hid or disabled them, not particularly feeling up to a fight.
Finally she found the prisoners ward and it was a rather simple task to get in. Evidently the prison was made to keep mutants in, not out. She wiggled her fingers in the direction of the cell block door and it melted down into a molten metal puddle. Wanda stepped into a long hallway with cells on either side. Very few of them were occupied and as these prisoners were not her concern she paid them no attention.
She found another cell block door that was heavier with more locks and caused it to crumple in on itself. In this shorter hallway there were only a few cells and Pietro was in the middle one.
“Hello, darling,” she greeted him cheerfully and studied the electronic lock on his compartment’s door. “I’m so sorry it’s taken so long.”
