Oh, this was serious. Well, Steve was serious, this was ridiculous, which made Steve the most ridiculous element. "Come on," Tony groaned back, a sardonic mimic that he hoped would make Steve realize just what he was doing, digging his heels in. His weak tugs became a steady pull, resisting Steve's attempts at bringing the party to a premature end-- hell, if this lasted any longer, he would have already succeeded if Tony couldn't get his audience back into it. They were starting to get antsy and confused, and that was bad energy for everyone. Tony was getting antsy, and that just started the frustration feeding on itself. Steve wasn't reading any of this right at all, and Tony was pretty sure he wasn't even picking up on Tony's wrinkled nose and roll of his eyes. "You know what, who even let you up here? Didn't I hire security?" he taunted.
