Wanda's eyes lit up at Tony's approach and she would have answered his greeting immediately if she hadn't caught sight of Raven behind him. Unconsciously, she moved away from Tony, stepping back to link her arm in Daimon's as her grin faded to a polite smile. Once Raven joined them, she replied lightly, "We weren't."
This meeting was, of course, inevitable and Wanda had at least had plenty of time to prepare herself for it so that she was able to face them both with composure. Her peace of mind was helped by the fact that Tony hadn't completely shut her out in the last few months and they'd done just fine, since he'd told her, completely ignoring the subject. Time taught her to be resigned and her own resolutions kept her politesse intact. The latter demanded that she make proper introductions and so she turned her energies to the task of how she ought to introduce Daimon.
With a gesture of her Martini glass, Wanda began with, "I'd like you to meet my-" and stalled at the definition of their relationship. Mentor? Teacher? Date? She settled on "-friend, Daimon."
Etiquette, a comfort in awkward situations, dictated that she introduce people with thoughtful details and so Wanda continued placidly, "He's an occultist and Demon Hunter. Daimon, this is Tony Stark, he's-" Wanda wasn't sure what she could possibly say about one of the most recognizable men in the world that wouldn't sound trite and she chuckled to herself as she continued, "Well, he's Tony Stark. And this is-"
In spite of her convictions and assumed tranquility, Wanda was still unable to acknowledge Raven as Tony's girlfriend aloud, so in her pause she pretended that she couldn't remember Raven's name and smiled apologetically before saying, as if the memory returned suddenly, "Raven. I believe she works at S.H.I.E.L.D." Introductory duty now admirably completed, Wanda rewarded herself with a sip of her martini and smiled as serenely as she could manage. Any outward sign of her discomfort was noticeable only to Daimon, whose arm her fingers clenched in a vice grip.
