"I like them both the same," she answered brightly. "Now, you wouldn't believe that if you were to see my childhood room." Pause. "A lot of orange. More than what would be considered healthy, I'm sure my parents were worried." Kitty's eyes hurt just thinking about it, but damn did she love that room. Grinning nostalgically, it was only a moment before she came to again and focused on the matter at hand.
"So, we like the light/dark contrast? It's settled then. Once you see the color of the walls for yourself, I think you'll agree that these'll give it a really nice balance." Tucking the sheets under her arm (after making sure they were the right size of course), she started toward the comforter sets, adding, "Pictures would have been helpful come to think of it. Oh well," she smiled. "This just means you'll get to be surprised when we get there." Afterall, she was going to be her very first guest!
After picking out a two-sided comforter set, Kitty beamed and bounced over to the mattress area. "I decided to go with the queen size," she confirmed, setting everything they'd picked out into an empty cart conveniently there next to them. Hands on her hips, her eyes followed the line of large mattress displays up testing. "Let's get to it," she exclaimed, taking no time at all to plop down the first bed before them. The key was to have fun with it, and that's what she planned to do.
"Wow," she fell back and wiggled around. "This...is a lot firmer than it looks."
