Susan looked up at him; blue eyes slightly startled at his words. He was right in the respect that he had not mentioned connections, but friendships. Would she ever be friends with those from the little plane ride over? She couldn't be sure right now, but maybe after she had her team back and everything wasn't hanging by a single thread for her.
"Thanks. It was floating in my head the whole plane ride over..." she said lightly, catching his eye as he pulled his glasses down to cast her glance over the frames and she oddly did the same, feeling little fear in the face of the very open and honest Tony Stark. Sue allowed her blue eyes to linger on his a few moments before pushed the sunglasses up on her face. Though his comment had her blushing, the blond knew damn well she had walked into it. Why wouldn't he pull something sexual from it? This was Tony after all...it was to be expected, really. She opened her mouth, breath taken in and smart answer on her lips, but it never got that far.
Tony was up ahead of her, arms spread out and leaving her with only the entails of a playboy smirk. Despite it all, she half-smiled to herself and shook her head. He never changed and she hurried in her heels to catch up to him, nearly jumping out of them at his shot about explosives in the crates. Of course he was kidding and the Invisible Woman huddled beneath the shaded area for a time before he wandered over and she heard him as for a ride for them.
Hurrying over, she stood next to him, golden hair blowing behind her like a cape and case in hand. "Are you making 'connections' with him too?" she asked cautiously, her new found confidence hardly stifled. Well with the team gone, she had to step up...right?
