Crystal arrived promptly on time, escorted by the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent currently assigned to watch her. She had spent more days than she had expected in this building and had begun to grow quite bored. She felt that she had been very patient thus far, remaining in her small room without much of a protest. As she had told Fury the first evening they had met, her time here was limited. As far as Crystal was concerned, this was it. Either Wanda was back and Crystal was taken to see her, or Wanda was brought here, or Crystal would give the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. a polite thank-you and leave. Continuing to stay at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters without speaking to Wanda would only take away valuable time she didn't have to spare if she would need to find another way to complete her primary objective.
"Hello, Fury," Crystal greeted the man in the room, using the name he had told her to use. She looked around at her new surroundings, unimpressed. "Is this your office? It does not look very comfortable." Indeed, kept in a hospital-type setting for days, Crystal had expected an upgrade in conditions when Fury finally asked to see her. This sparsely decorated room, furnished with one simple table and three plain chairs, was not an upgrade.
