characters: Daimon Hellstrom, OTA setting: Turtle Pond in Central Park content: Clean. I guess that could change, though. summary: Enjoying the outdoors.
Expanding ripples rolled across the water's surface, the subtle quake disrupting the peacefulness between a colony of tadpoles. Daimon watched as they all scattered away frantic, though as soon as the water settled evenly, they came together again and found refuge underneath a floating leaf. He picked up another rock, feeling out the shape and flatness of it before he saw it fit enough to skip across the pond's calm center.
Since returning to New York, Daimon had been immersed behind the scenes at his shop. If he wasn't at his shop, he was traveling around hunting dark entities, and if he wasn't hunting dark entities, he was doing extensive research. Whatever the case, Daimon was always busy, and today was the first time in a while that he took some time to relax.
Brushing his fingers across the tall cattails growing along the pond shore, he paused to appreciate the view of the Belvedere Castle in front of him. And then with a small intake of air, the demon slipped his hands into his pockets and walked forth, noticing a small group of people fishing on top of the castle's foundation, Vista Rock. A brow arched and he wondered if there were even any fish worth catching in Turtle Pond. He doubted it.
