Tony's laugh suggested that it definitely wasn't just Cassie and that he might have heard the accusation at least once before. For once, he didn't try to cover or swallow it and just snickered until he was giving a contented sigh with his head lolled back and eyes closed, feeling pretty good about being on the same team and letting himself enjoy it. Speaking of, where did his drink go...?
"'Creepy' isn't really fair," he corrected, though his smirk said that she wasn't very far off the mark. Distracted by the search for his glass as he spoke, Tony started to mutter dreamily, "I would say it comes with the line of work, but I turned out all right. Some people just take the mad scientist thing to heart." Clearly, its purpose had been reapplied, and Tony had his guesses as to who might be the author. Not worth worrying about, there was more where that came from, and he had to look back to Cassie anyway to give her a proper loco whistle with crossed eyes and a finger twirled by his temple. "I mean, really mad. What, he's not like that back home?" he asked, honestly surprised by the revelation that Hank Pym could be considered stable in any reality. But the Scarlet Witch was crazy there; maybe it was a trade off.
