"Mmkay. I'd like to say something." Standing up from her chair, Jessica put her hands on her hips, staring the adult majority down with an intense and uncompromising look. "I would just like to remind everyone of the rules. You have two options, see: a hug or a kiss. On the cheek. So for the bloody rest of you thinking you can get one over on me by playing that Turn-Your-Head-and-Kiss-Me-On-the-Lips game - and you know who you are - you are sorely mistaken. The next person to do it will get a kiss, personally, by my veno--" She didn't even get to demonstrate how serious she was when an officer walked up and whispered something in her ear, causing Jessica to lower her hand and force a tight smile.
"...the next person to do it will be charged extra. Thank you." Jessica sat back down and re-applied her deep red lipstick, mumbling in her head how she wasn't even all that serious. It's not like she would really blast someone's face off because of a kiss, but there were a lot of creepers in that line, some of which were coming back for more! And don't even get her started on the hugs. Not as innocent as they appeared, some of them. At least the kids were sweet. Jessica's agitated thoughts withered away as a young one stepped up, clinging shyly to his mother's leg. Leaning forward, Jessica smiled and talked to him for a little bit until he was willing step away from his mom and approach her.
