"The issue is being resolved, Captain Rogers," JARVIS explained vaguely even as Tony went, "Um," and pressed back on Steve's shoulder to get him to stay put. He sat up with a hand on the other shoulder, looking towards the door and hoping one of the girls would burst in and relieve him, because that at least meant they weren't frantically trying to put a fire out. Of course they were preoccupied, though; Tony knew this was a bad idea from the start. Both of them fully admitted that they should be kept out of the kitchen for everyone's safety. So, ever so slowly, Tony began to smile, then chuckle, then snort and drop back into his boneless lounge, hand dragging back onto the seat until just his fingertips touched the back of Steve's neck, freeing him to go investigate the disaster of the Avengers Bakery. He wasn't going to say anything and be associated with the mess; he kept the other hand pressed to his lips, shrugging innocently as he got his laughter under control.
