"Nothing," Cassie answered and tossed the remote down then patted the couch beside her, watching him with a frown. "No luck with the pictures?" she murmured. All of her own pictures of Teddy were gone and from the tentative queries she'd made, no one she knew remembered him either. It had been hard to focus on it in light of the bug invasion and the fact that they were probably going to die, but now it was one of the problems on the fore of her anxieties. She just kept hoping he'd reappear, come walking through the door, but each day brought more proof of his nonexistence.
