It was a good strategy, and while Pietro kept the Sentinels occupied, Magneto was able to handle the humans. There was no time for moral qualms or attention to Pietro's feelings on the matter, Magnus dispatched them quickly and efficiently, expecting any moment to be taken down by a Sentinel. Surely, there were more humans, so when he'd disabled the ones attacking he turned back towards the Sentinels and called out to his son. They still had to try to rescue the prisoners and Pietro was far better equipped for the task with his speed. "Get the prisoners, I'll distract the Sentinels," he shouted and hoped Pietro would hear him. Even if he couldn't destroy the compound and bring down the HLS, he wasn't going to leave without his people.
