To the question, Hulkling could only shrug apologetically, then drop from the sky as the plane veered and put himself under it. Putting it in Statures's hands was their best bet, but they really needed to put it in Stature's hands to get enough control to get it to Stature. That didn't help anyone. The plane kind of wobbled over Hulkling's head as he flapped frantically to keep up with it, making him swing lower in anticipation of it falling from the sky. Maybe the plane not really having any control could work in the favour. After all, that meant it wasn't working against them.
Hulkling appeared alongside the plane, just in front of the wing, making a few of the passengers inside shriek and jump away from their windows, confounding anyone near them. They went onto gaps and launch themselves closer to the portholes when the strange green beast was suddenly jerked towards the wing, much to his surprise judging by the expression on his monstrous face, and found himself clamped to the front of the jet engine with it's relentless sucking intake with claws digging into the metal from his feet and hands. The impact shook the whole plane, and pitched to the side, swinging under this slam of weight in an about face to head back to the airfield. Not exactly Teddy's plan, but with some of the same effects. At least he didn't take the wing off.
