To think, not long ago his biggest concern had been hunting down international terrorists and stopping them before they could commit further atrocities. As much as he had tried to stem the tide of chaos, however, his efforts had ultimately been for naught as the greatest threat to the world had materialized before he had any time at all to react or prepare for it. Alien bug creatures. Who the hell would have guessed?
Of course, just when he had thought that he had finally heard it all, he caught the news that a giant reptilian creature was attacking Tokyo. Because the world did not have enough problems as it was. With the superheroes of the world tied up all across the globe, James realized that he could possibly be one of the few available to deal with this latest crisis.
Not that he would ever call or admit to being a ‘superhero.’
Pushing his thrusters to the limit, he arrived over the Tokyo skyline just in time to see a man jump out of the back of a plane and onto the giant green monstrosity that was Godzilla. Flying up on the scene, James arched a brow in his helmet as he watched the man attack with what appeared to be claws from the backs of his hands-a sign that instantly explained the suicidal behavior. Only one man was that crazy.
Wolverine. It had to be.
Unable to completely unleash on Godzilla, he instead flew down past the gaping maw of the creature, blasting one side of its face with a repulsor ray. It was his intention that by doing so, he could distract the behemoth from Wolverine and hopefully… hopefully begin to lead the monster away from the city, even if he had to use himself as bait.
