Billy could sense a certain hero worship in Tony's voice that had his lips curling. That would have been amazing, though....probably pretty scary for Cap...he'd never even thought about that before he'd met the man.
Fury's answer reminded him of Eli's grandfather, and his brow creased thoughtfully. What were the odds it had happened to him in this world too? Would there be another Eli here?

Never thought I would be obviously, I didn't have any power the whole time I was doing the hero worship stuff, and I couldn't even look after myself but...not long after I got my powers this guy shows up and tells me I'm part of this contingency plan that Vision had set up in case...oh um...he's...was...an android, married the Scarlet Witch, worked for the Avengers...but anyway, he made this list in case the Avengers ever broke up, and I was on it. It was me, Teddy, Eli, even though it was really supposed to be Eli's uncle, and then Iron Lad...who actually turned out to be a young Kang the Conqueror, but...we didn't know that then, and...he's really nice as a kid. The media thought we were all copying the real Avengers, since our powers and costumes were sort of tailored to look that way, they called us the Young Avengers, and the name stuck. I was called Asguardian until the team got bigger, but Kate and Cassie thought Wiccan might work better..."
