The blond had opened her mouth to answer, but he carried on with it as a joke and Sue could only shut it again. He was right, of course. Her own team would no doubt fall apart without her there to hold it together and while Reed was constantly busy and floundering in his own work...Invisible Woman would be missed. "I have to have a talent for something, Tony", she offered with the briefest of smiles before reaching for her cup of coffee again and sipping off the edge. It was lukewarm and she shivered at the bitterness now so noticiable in the liquid.
"But you're right. They need me there...it would be selfish for me to leave them alone. God knows my brother would...burn the place down in seconds", she shook her head at the thought. Johnny was always action first and thought later. She wanted to fell needed, even if everything and everyone around her seemed to scream it, the blond didn't feel it...not fully. Perhaps she just wasn't looking? Or maybe she wanted more? Either way Susan was pretty sure she would not get it...but that was okay.
