For an answer, Tony only offered the situation, gesturing emphatically towards his monitors, little portals of important information he could have been and needed to be absorbing until he got on a jet at the nearest available second. When his arms dropped, though, it was with the same, unavoidable weight as before, hitting the arms of his chair with a dual whump. Immediately, he was raising one hand again to his chin, combing his fingers through his beard before gesturing the assault on. He said, "No, I'll see her, get her anything she wants and send her in. Would you tell me right now if my hair was all right? Right, go get her."
His eyes closed with a sigh, the screens going dark only to light up somewhere behind his eyelids, layering over project blueprints, energy consumption and security reports from the Campus, unfinished e-mails to several department heads, and at least four to-do lists that only got longer. At least Sue would be a soothing addition to his afternoon.
