Getting into a pedestrian barroom brawl was rarely on Tony's agenda-- if ever, of course; these sort of men struck for the face, and to Tony that would be far too much of a risk of loss. What he did risk, and what Rhodey didn't have to know about, was the flirtatious wink over his shoulder at the man who continued to watch the pair curiously after Tony's incongruous entrance. The man would go on to watch Rhodey's back suspiciously while Tony just smiled at his friend with a hand lingering on is arm until he spoke. Who needed friends like that anymore when they had Tony?
"Looks good, doesn't he?" was Tony's confirmation, stepping out of their secretive bubble and stripping that conversation to a clean end. He smiled easily as he went, pushing the bottle he took with him out of the way onto an easily accessible ledge and selecting a cue for himself, though he never put down his glass. "What was that about leaving the country, really? I hope I'm not keeping you from a steamy rendezvous, but I do appreciate the compliment," he redirected when he stood ready an expectant, twisting the cue between his fingers.
