Charles chuckled at her attitude over the concession she was making and pulled out an expense chart, glad to see that she was actually calm and confident with the everyday grind and that her father's death didn't overshadow everything, "How kind of you. This is the standard cost for a shared room during the fall and spring semesters and this is the standard cost for the same during the summer. While you would be paying for the room, during the summer it is unlikely that you will have a roommate. A good majority of our students return home during that period. The expense appears rather high to most, and I agree it is... save that it also includes three meals a day and a small security deposit for any power related damages that may occur..."
The conversation continued with an outline of expected expenses related to classes and the restrictions she would live under in terms of personal items bought and stored at the Institution, insurance she should buy on anything like that in case of an attack and the full-scale destruction of the School that occasionally happened (as had recently).
It took another hour or more of covering the standard introductionary material and schedualing the testing to be done while Xavier took care of records and transcripts, but when it was over, Regan would be allowed to leave to find her new room assignment and go over a stack of papers related to the school and what to expect of classes, schedules and the like.
