"Flawless, yeah..." Reed muttered under his breath as he stretched his fingers all across the keyboard. But there was something in her tone that didn't quite sit well with him. He just couldn't place it at the moment. The numbers on the monitor were starting to blur together; Reed just couldn't focus. He had too much on his mind. That was when he heard the loud "BING!".
"My nanites! It's feeding time." With that he got up and bolted off deeper into the lab. He had been slowly developing them over the last few months to rewrite genetic code with the hopes that they might be able to do something about their conditions. As of so far, they only succeeded in reducing their test specimens into blob-ish byproducts of post-cellular defecation. The nanites only stripped the genetic code without rewriting it currently, but he still had plenty of time to get them right.
