He was about to knock out a wall, since all the staffers were looking at him like a monster. If they wanted something to be scared of, he would give them something to scream about. About the time he reared back, he felt something touch his rock hide. Looking down, it was Sue.
"Yeah, Suzie..well, maybe they aughta make couches I can actually sit on, not worry about smashin' 'em, and not lose my food in. Ever think o' that?" His voice sounded like rocks grinding together, but he didn't care anymore. Sue had him pretty much calmed down. "Eh, How thingsa going with you brain-o types?"
He was pretty sure Sue was in a lab before he lost his temper, so she was sure to be fiddling with something. Sue wasn't as bad as Reed. She actually talked on his level most the time. As for Reed, sometimes Ben thought he needed a thesaurus just to be his friend. Guys like Ben and Johnny on the team, had to work to keep up.
