The breeze guided her into these slight, fluid movements. The way she just stared ahead like that, so somber, it was as if she was cocooned by thoughts. A thick, hardening shell of thoughts. What was going on in the Spider-Woman's head anyway? Nothing and yet so much. She wasn't much for displaying her thoughts for the public. Maybe another night. But don't think her pensiveness drew her away from her surroundings. Nah, she was alert. Certainly enough to know that she was no longer alone...
And still, she remained there poised in that suspended position, almost giving that impression that she wasn't going to acknowledge the unfamiliar presence. But she would. And she did. There was a gradual turn of her head, the initial and perhaps most obvious indication that Jess was fully aware of him as he was of her. The way the moonlight hit him, the way the shadows played cleverly against his person, he looked a little like a carved figure, it was kind of cool.
She observed in silence, her darkly painted lips curved in a subtle smirk. Like him, she was unsure of what to expect from this silent confrontation. Needless to say, she didn't feel particularly threatened, and she was curious enough. Jess would take her chances. "Hello," she initiated, bringing her hand to her temple to salute the winged stranger.
