Where the woman's expression didn't shift one bit, Charlie's was nearly always in flux. Had he heard anything about how Katalina had taken to practically living in the bars at night? No, not at all. Though, he couldn't say he would have been deterred from showing up even if he had. He was strange that way. Lifting a brow, Charlie's smile softened into more of a sympathetic look. He couldn't help it, really. It was always hard for people to accept that they were stuck, even if they eventually learned to enjoy their time here. Her next little quip had him smiling again, though it was more like a baring of teeth than anything else.
"You sure about that?" She sure didn't look like she was upset or messed up, at least in comparison to how he'd found her. "It just so happens to be my job to look out for your safety, so call it a professional interest." He shrugged lightly, leaning back as he grabbed his glass. Sipping on the liquid, he looked back over at Lina, his eyes kinder than they usually were. "As for me, I'll be just fine in a little while. Not that you stayed up all night with worry," he said, a teasing note in his tone. He didn't have delusions at all about that. "I'm Charlie, by the way. So you've got a name to go with your assault." It was phrased as a joke, but Charlie was only half kidding.
