12:25a	Winthrop Divided The RPG Mod Journal Main Community OOC Cast List PB Holds Premise Rules Application Winthrop is just your average town, not far from Boston, Massachusetts. To everyone who lives there, it’s just your normal home. There isn’t anything special about the town, nothing out of the ordinary. There are schools and jobs and your neighbor Helen down the street, but little do the townspeople know, there’s trouble brewing right underneath their noses. Veridian wants control of all things supernatural. Scratch that, he wants control over all things period. Good. Evil. Supernatural and Human alike. He’s got his own money to burn and a lot of high bidders willing to back him on his mission. He smooth talks and has a way about him that’ll make you think that if you help him, he’ll help you. But does he have what it takes to take the reigns or will he be overthrown before he succeeds in his efforts? A war between good and evil is spiraling beyond control and still the people of Winthrop sleep soundly and completely unaware. So where do you play your part? Will you side with Veridian or are you more virtuous? Are you completely in the dark, living your life as though nothing is happening? When given the choice, which path will you take? 1:13p	No Good Deed Timeline Cast Wanted Dropbox In the middle of January Xavier's School for Gifted Students was attacked in the dead of night. Both mutant and non-mutant alike fought to lend a powerful blow to the mutant community by taking out the school. They did not expect the battle they would be faced with and many were lost that night. Since then, under the leadership of Ororo Munroe, the staff and students at Xavier's have struggled to find normalcy once more. The mansion is being repaired slowly, security enhanced, and students are finding comfort in consistent classes once again. But there are darker things looming just out of sight. In the space of one day, Magneto, who was at the mansion to help a struggling Lorna Dane, has disappeared along with the green-haired girl. Scott Summers, long thought dead, has returned to find his one-time home still in a state of partial ruin, his lover gone, and his father-figure dead. With shifts in command and mutants losing control of their powers due to cures wearing off, what else will the residents of Xavier's have to face. Is the New Brotherhood still a threat, perhaps an even bigger one now with Magneto on the loose? If Scott is somehow alive, could it mean the professor lives somewhere, too? 8:47p	American Nomads Run away and join the circus. The caravan rolls into town, and for two nights, the sky is lit up by torches and a few hokey rides. There's a sword swallower and fire dancers, a fortune teller, and some sketchy looking carnies selling even sketchier games. No cotton candy, but if you close your eyes, you can imagine the sugary taste. For a few hours, you forget about the zombies and your dead relatives and the wasteland that used to be America. The music comes from a guy with a guitar and a ragtag string trio, but it's not the sound of the moaning undead. But when it's over, all you've got to face is yet another night with a gun, hoping you survive to the next night. So what have you got that's worth staying for? And what have you got that's worth leaving for? The show must go on. Run away and join the circus. *** *** *** Maybe you don't mind the limelight, even if it's just a single spotlight run on a diesel generator. The caravan needs new shows, animal acts, carnival games, a little sideshow drama to draw in the crowds. Maybe you're not the showy type. The caravan needs roadies and cooks, farmers and guards, medics and teachers. One hundred souls, struggling to survive -- but they're surviving. Could you?
