So a couple years back there was this weird story on the news. Once every month this black dog went around killing people’s pets. Five times this happens and no one can figure it out. The local news anchors won't say "wolf" for fear of sounding ridiculous. Witnesses simply described it as a large black dog. Finally, the police catch the thing after an alert neighbor gets the dog on camera. But the footage was never released and the only statement from the police was that this dog was “returned to its owner.” I got this friend and he’s a cop, right? So I ask him, what was the deal with that black dog? At first my buddy gets all tight lipped but then he says, “I never saw no dog.”
