Shapeshifters? Or monsters?
How about both.
It all depends on what you believe, what you read. There’s no doubt that lycanthropes are among us. But are they a danger? Most of them would say no, that they’re just people trying to get on with their lives.
But on the night of the full moon, those ‘animal attacks’ always seem to go up.
The monsters are out there, the werewolves that can pass on the taint. And they do – spreading what they are to innocent victims, bringing down the reputation of those lycanthropes that weren’t turned by the taint, but were born like that. Those that aren’t monsters. Until they’re all hunted. Because hunters don’t stop to ask questions first.
It’s not an easy life for a were these days.
