| {Welcome to the True Game} Within the lands of the True Game, humans have come to possess any combination of eleven different talents. Beguiling, elating, firestarting, flight, healing, moving, necromancy, reading, seeing, shapeshifting, and storing. People can have complete control over only one ability, or moderate levels of up to four. The world is rife with the talented but it's usually rare to find two of the exact same combinations of talents.
Here in the Sapphire Domain, multiple talents abound though few are known to have only beguiling as a talent. Not only is this domain know for its low number of beguilers, but for an amazing amounts of years of victory in battle and peace. In fact, the domain seems just a little too perfect. What could be being hidden within its borders?
The Sapphire Domain has been unscathed by games for the last ten years. Some say Willem is the most intelligent, tactical and all around best ruler the Sapphire Domain has ever had. Others wonder just what powers he holds that have kept him and his contingency from ever losing a battle. Whispers abound: is he hiding something? Is there a greater power than his? But the real question is, how much longer can his winning streak last?

|  | LXH (League of Extraordinary Heroes) is a pulp-based, multi-genre RPG. Set in modern times, in fictional Avalon City, it features good, bad, and that hazy grey area in dealing with superheroes, supervillains, mystics, demons, enhanced humans, vampires, assassins, werewolves, mutants, and everything in between. If you can think it up, it probably lives here in Avalon. We're looking for recruits with an eye for the unusual, and a rich style of character creation. Turmoil will constantly be on the horizon, as the mods aim to throw a wrench into the works every now again, for good guys and bad guys alike. Evil NPC elements will pop up from time to time, as well as squeaky clean heroes. Keep an eye out for advertisements in the Avalon Herald for wanted "guns for hire", or seek out the leaders of various factions within the city yourself. Feel free to start a personality from scratch, or take an existing character from your favourite canon and re-work them into an original character. Enter a world of Art Deco charm, of understated elegance, of simple but luxurious pleasures. First built in 1928, Morningstar Manor was the pet project of Jefferson Morningstar, who created a haven for the Manor’s residents. Morningstar Manor boasts the best to offer - without entirely breaking the bank.
Today, the Manor has undergone extensive remodeling to bring it to her modern elegance. Her tenants enjoy the coffee shop, use the gardens, fitness center, and rooftop swimming pool (now completely glass-enclosed for year-round convenience.) Self-service laundry facilities in the basement are easily accessible, as well as a dry-cleaning and laundry for those who prefer to have their cleaning sent out. Housekeeping services are arranged in-house by Morningstar Manor’s expertly trained staff, and can be provided for a low, additional monthly fee.
Also included, at no additional fee: Morningstar Manor’s intricately ominous past. Do you really care if the building is haunted, or the fact that the Devil occupies the penthouse - toying with tenants as convenient for him, when it really is “the” place to live?
