Savannah listened to the speech in silence, watching her friend and roommate from the other side of the table. When Molly's hand touched hers, she did not pull away. A moment later, she would be surprised to find she had turned her hand over to link hands.
"It isn't that easy," she said at last, slowly. "I can't just eat and make it suddenly go away. This isn't like that."
