"Amen," Cath agreed grimly. Really any saint willing to appeal to God to save them would be useful. Not that praying was all he planned to do.
He nodded at the suggestion. "I've already asked her to check the computer logs against the false manifest. I'm almost afraid of what she'll find."
"Once they find out about the manifest, hopefully they'll understand," he pointed out, taking a drink of his coffee. "Or they'll run mad and kill themselves or generally do daft things. Like hold contests." Yes, he'd seen Emily's post. And pretty much ignored it. Completely bloody stupid, that was.
"I've spoken to her and Keane," he explained, trying not to grit his teeth at the memory of Keane being a prat about equal treatment. "She's got good ideas, I've a list I made. As for the guns, I've asked her to keep some of them in her hiding place and we need to find some other places to stash them. Preferably on the decks we'll be guarding."
