Think you've had enough stretching?" Emily rose to her feet in a fluid motion, and helped Megan up. "Here, I'll stand in front of you with my back turned to you. Reach out and feel me until you have a good understanding of where I am and what position I'm in. Then pretend you're the bad guy and grab me, the way you think a villain might grab someone. Once you have a hold of me, I'll slowly go through the motions of escaping that particular hold, at the same time explaining what I'm doing and why. Once you think you understand, I'll pretend to be the villain, and you can practice escaping from me. When you feel like you've got it down, we'll do the same thing with a different type of grapple.
