Megan was really getting annoyed by the whole "no clocks" thing. She still wore her watch out of habit, but not being able to even use the sun to guesstimate time was really starting to tick her off. The closest thing she had to a timer was Niles' relieving schedule, which she figured he was sticking to at least. Assuming it was sometime around sunrise, she'd taken Niles to the potty, hating the mugginess and yuck in the air, then headed up to the fitness center, hoping to find someone there.
She didn't have proper workout clothes, but decided that if she was going to be in a self-defense class, she should probably at least attempt to dress the part. She'd put on a maroon Sooners t-shirt and her light blue sleep pants, which she knew was a horrible color combination but didn't care, and a pair of sneakers. Niles at her side, she wandered into the fitness center and headed towards where she could hear someone breathing, like they were exercising already.
One good thing about there being so few people on board was the fact that her already sensitive hearing was able to pick people up even better now. She "looked" towards the noises as she found herself in the doorway. "Hello? Is this the self defense class?" Whoever was there was probably shitting themselves at the thought of teaching a blind woman self defense. But maybe it was Emily and things wouldn't be quite so bad.
