He didn't know if he was frustrated that she'd taken the money with her, or glad none of it was missing.
Sean didn't care about Chelsea's look. She was Karen's friend and it was normal for friends and family to be angry when the law worked against those they cared about. Hell, he'd grown fond of Li... Karen, himself. Now he wasn't sure how much of that was based on a fabrication.
"I don't think there's much you can't handle." Sean responded truthfully. "As long as you honestly account for her whereabouts or make sure you call me if you want to have some time to yourself."

Chelsea's asking Molly if she was alright drew his attention to his niece. Damnit. There's been a lot of talk about violence. Molly never reacted well to violence. She was obviously distressed so he moved quickly to try to comfort her. If she started to panic at least he knew what to do.
