Lisa grinned when she saw Chelsea's smile. She knew the meeting had been stressful for Chelsea; it had been stressful for all of them. Nevertheless, Chelsea seemed to be keeping a positive attitude. Lisa wished there was something she could say to make things better, but unfortunately this conversation would surely have the opposite effect. She leaned forward and gave Chelsea a hug. "I certainly did. Thanks for coming. So, Wheelychick, welcome to the Mirror Room," she said as she escorted Chelsea into the room. This was the first time Lisa had had any company in her room, and she was sure all the mirrors would make quite an impression.
After showing Chelsea around the room for a couple of minutes, there was another knock at the door. Sean and Molly had arrived. She opened the door, gave Molly a hug, and took Sean's hand. "Thanks for coming," she said, and led them into the room. Sean looked tired, and Molly seemed agitated. Little wonder. Lisa suddenly wondered if it was wise to have Molly here for this. Well, Molly was going to learn sooner or later, and there probably was no good way. After giving them a minute to look around, she invited them to have a seat on the white sofa on the other side of the coffee table, and then sank back into her armchair.
"I'm, uh, not really sure how to start. This isn't a good time, I know, but I don't really think there's going to be a good time. There's something I need to tell you all, and I'm afraid you're not going to like it..."
