She shrugged. "I really wouldn't know," she admitted. "Never really had a relationship with boys or girls. Not that kinda girl." Commitment was a scary word, and she wasn't the type for it. She took a long drag on her cigarette.
"Everybody worries about blowing it with somebody they care about," she told him, blowing out another cloud of smoke. "It has nothing to do with boys or girls. And sharing emotions is how this all works out, or so I'm told. I think it's awful cute, myself."
