Wow, that sounded familiar. Unlike Eve, however, she had little fear that her family didn't think she loved them -- she was more concerned about them hating her for losing her siblings.
But about that other thing? Not so much. It made her feel a little better, knowing that she could relate and that this was something she could handle and, maybe, could even fix.
"Eve, your family isn't going to think you didn't love them..." Sympathetically, she said, "I so know how you feel. I was never home much myself. But when we don't show up when we're supposed to, they won't be thinking about themselves. They'll totally be thinking about you and how they never said any of that to you. They're not going to blame you for being young and beautiful, Eve. That would be just...just selfish and rude."
