Juhi honestly didn't know what to expect. First of all, she didn't know where she and Pyrrhus stood...was he a friend, friend with benefits, boyfriend, something else? Without knowing their standing, she had no expectations. She was happy to spend time with him while he was okay with it.
"Definitely. Oh, and thanks again for understanding my needing a light to sleep by. Bad childhood memories." Juhi said, glancing down. Memories that kept resurfacing. She caught a whiff of a smell she had noticed earlier this morning when she met Miguel. Oranges. God, why was that smell following her around? Juhi had thought maybe it was a cleaning product on Miguel's cart earlier, but now she was feeling a little crazy. She hated the smell, it reminded her of her sister Diandra. It always made her sad. Juhi missed Diandra terribly.
She whirled to the back of the elevator when she heard a voice whisper in her ear, "Hey you..." Definitely not Pyrrhus's voice. Oh God, she was going crazy.
"Sorry," Juhi mumbled, eyes wide with nervousness. As if it wasn't bad enough that this ship was going down faster than the Titanic, now she was hearing voices and smelling weird smells everywhere.
