"Trust me, it's no bother," Pyrrhus said, still smiling from the unexpected kiss. "Anytime I can spend time in the company of a beautiful woman, it's not a bother at all." He took her hand and kissed it.
"I think I heard something about an End of the World party, too, if you're interested? Dinner and dancing perhaps?" It wasn't scarfing down some sushi and running off to set something on fire, true, but lately Pyrrhus had really warmed to the idea of "normalcy," whatever that was. "Relax," he said, reaching up to stroke Juhi's hair. "We'll be fine, don't worry. Nothing to be so nervous about."
