She suppressed a soft chuckle at the child, not wanting to give Cathair any ideas although now wasn't really the time or the place anyhow. If only Jerome knew... Instead she just offered Leto and her father a fairly tense smile. Still, it was a smile none the less. That was a step in the right direction.
Mae nodded at the FBI agent and over turned a cup, pouring up some coffee, "I've only got sugar so if you want anything else, you're scr--" she glanced over at the kid and his earphones and changed the word 'screwed' into, "out of luck." She walked the cup over to Sean and set it down near him before rejoining Cathair's side. Yeah, she wasn't going to go too far from him with a room full of strangers.
She wasn't a planner so she mostly listened to the lads talk, poking around the maps and searching out the one for the helm. She was examining the location of the vents but it was impossible to tell whether they were on the ground or up high or what size they were. There should've been some sort of indicator.
So Mae spoke up, "I can try the vents first - to get in to the helm." Chewing her bottom lip for a moment, she muttered after, "It'd be easier if we could just blow the door..." Of course she realized shortly after that it was quiet enough that everyone heard her and she expertly feigned an embarrassed look, "It works in the movies."
