It was just as much his fault as hers they'd lingered longer. And yes, he was wagering the room was unoccupied as long as they'd been in there and been left undisturbed. He should have been more concerned about their carelessness, but frankly, he felt too damned good right now to give much a damn.
Cath chuckled as Mae fussed at him. He took her hand and pressed it to his lips as he shifted off her. "Yes, dear," he teased. "I love you too, sweeting."
He returned her sweet kiss, mentally cursing the ship, needing to do other things and well, the fact that even without those looming above them, he was too bloody tired to do more than cuddle at this point. At least without something to eat and a bloody nap. Which wasn't happening. At least the nap part.
Coffee would be better, but Mae's tea was strong enough to put hair on your chest, so he just nodded. He stood then pulled her up for another quick kiss. It was time to find all their clothing and weapons and get moving.
