Ronnie looked up at the mention of the habits of good leaders and good followers. Then he closed his eyes shook his head. "I'm not smart enough to be a good leader, but I'm not useless," he murmured, taking the pictures Cath was finished with and looking them over. His face visibly paled, but his jaw set and he turned them over, laying them out and then looking them over as if an idea of who had done it would pop out at him.
At Cath's observation about the guts he shrugged. "If he'd fallen when the knife or whatever was in him it could have rearranged them, but if they were really riffled through... maybe it was drugs? Or jewels or something?" Those were what were usually smuggled in bodies, wasn't it? "Maybe we should be on the lookout for an addict or something. I don't know."
He stood then, furcing himself to look away from the gruesome imagery and then got his coat, pulling out his keys and inserting them, typing in the combination before opening the safe where the guns and important items were kept. He reached in, taking out a standard issue 8mm handgun and opening it, making sure there were bullets before he offered the gun to Cath. Something about him told Ronnie he could use it well enough, and he certainly wasn't going to give him his own gun. After Cath had taken it he reached in and pulled out a master card key and then paused, taking out a list of the manual pass codes. He'd memorized it, like every other security member, but he wasn't sure he'd be around long enough to share them. "Here. Um. These'll get you anywhere you need to go," he said, relocking the safe before turning around and offering the paper to Cath.
"You know. In case I'm not around... sometime soon. I mean, you guys are all arranging who's in charge, and a lot of the food stocks and the lockers and stuff...." He shook his head. He might have given it to Sean, if he'd stuck around, but the guy made Ronnie's nerves flare. He trusted Cath more. "I mean... if I do disappear, you'll look after the rest of the passengers, right? There's a lot of people on board who cant protect themselves. They'll need somebody to take care of them. And if there's nobody left who was hired to do it they might fall through the cracks."
