Sean almost wilted with relief at the thought of having the master keys, and being able to lock up the guns. "I figure when things started going pear shaped the security staff decided they'd take their own security to their bunks with them, huh?" Because regulations would be keeping all weapons under lock and key except those in use. But folks were scared. He couldn't say he wouldn't have done the same with any amount of honesty.
Sean ran a hand over an empty looking gym bag he had slung over his shoulder. "I have to go do a final exam and prepare Mr. Shepherd. I'll be back immediately after. I want you to go over the ships schematics and figure out which deck is most defensible. We're moving all passengers to the same deck so we can concentrate guard shifts." Sean noted the com united Ronnie had tried to call over earlier. "If those are working, we'll need them as well. When I come back we can go over the sequence of events as we can figure them and see if there's anything even beginning to resemble a pattern."
Sean had a plan for setting up the guard if he could get the numbers to do it.
