Gor gave her a sideways glance, curious. It wasn't that he was particularly great at reading people but that she wasn't particularly good at hiding things.
Two peas in a pod they were.
"Riff," he said with an honest and level blink. "I get it. Civilian." He assumed it was something security-related -- she was the security person after all, and he was lucky to get a glimpse of the programming after all.
And that was all he felt needed to be said to get her to relax again. He felt that pointing out that she wasn't relaxed would only embarrass her, which would embarrass him, and the cycle would start all over again.
"How long have you been working on it?" Gor questioned curiously, eyes turning back to the screen as well. "It's no different than wading through Einstein or Pythaoras." Or any other overly complicated mathematical riddles.
