Riffraff was trying not to be distracted by the fact that the crew was... extraordinarily short handed to say the least. Again, she had popped into the security room in hopes of catching someone but no. No, if anyone had been there she had missed them and she still had no idea what had happened to her programs precisely. And they really weren’t cooperating.
The roombas were not out this morning owing to needing repairs and tweaking so she was out on her own. Well not really on her own. She had her laptop and she was masterfully holding it and typing with one hand at the same time. Yeah, she was just that addicted to having a computer or a robot around her at all times. She couldn’t stand to be parted from her babies.
And so that was precisely why she didn’t realize it when she was about literally walked into someone’s chair. Her knees banged into the chair and she nearly lost her laptop on top of the poor person’s head but she managed to keep her grip. Rather automatically, she took two big steps back, bending over to rub her knees, repeating the word “Sorry” over and over until she realized she sounded like she was panicking and promptly shut up. For a moment anyway until she managed a much calmer, “So sorry about that.”
