all around me are familiar faces Who: Lucy and Zoe Where: C Deck - outside of Eurycleia's Cafe When: afternoonish
Lucy decided that she needed to paint outside. Maybe painting a seascape would help her stop painting her father's face. Obviously painting outside would be messy and cumbersome, so Lucy grabbed her sketchpad and some colored pencils. These were not her favorite medium at all, but they would do in a pinch.
She had been outside for about an hour. And so far, she had three versions of her father's face. One reflected in the water of the ocean. One in a cloud. And one of him in a group of people on the deck of the boat. Not matter what she tried to paint or draw, her father's face kept popping back up. And the gin! She kept smelling that everywhere.
