Gor had been in the library for much of the afternoon. After breakfast (which had been a steak sandwich), he had decided to investigate the mystery of the sun a little further. Since he had learned all he could from direct observation, it was time to dig in the library.
...Although he rather doubted this had any precedence. Still, it was worth a shot, right?
The scientific section, naturally, had little to add on the subject. There had been instances of retrograde, where the sun appeared to move backwards. Scientifically, as expected, there was nothing more to add.
And so Gor had turned to legends, stories, and ancient mysteries. Just in case. He was actually learning quite a bit about the history of the sun and its significance in ancient cultures. Just as he flipped a page to read more about Aztec sun-worship, his eye caught a young woman settling down across from him. Perhaps it was a little rude to stare, but...she had a cat.
