"We need to access the Weapons room eventually, but for now it's being locked is in our favor. I think we may need a guard on it." Sean started putting things in order on his list. "Leto and I will be examining the body for any clues. I'll clean him up as best I can and get him dressed." Sean looked to Father Peter, now. "I don't know if he was Catholic or not, but would you give him last rights? We'll have to give him a sailors burial for lack of options. We can't keep him on boards. If no one objects we can announce that to be done at sundown."
Sean looked at his list. "Leto, if you can get room keys, I think circling our wagons may be the best approach. A set guard rotation focused where the people are at night needs to be arranged. Guards should be in pairs at least." Sean looked up, "We'll take volunteers but we'll need to screen them."
"I need to examine Graham to give people the most information. I want people informed before we send Graham out to rest, because the sooner they know, the better. If they see a plan is in place it'll alleviate some, but not all, of the panic."
"Our biggest problem is we can't force anyone to do anything. If folks don't want to do anything we suggest it's not like we can force anything."
"After these immediate needs we can plan on the next steps. I'm afraid we're gonna have to take on a siege mentality. We are under attack here, guys. Not only by who... whatever is taking people, but by a killer as well."
Why didn't they just rename the ship 'Herot' while they were at it?
"Any further suggestions or arguments on these first three goals? Secure the weapons room, plan to move people together and set up a guard, and hold a meeting to keep everyone on this ship informed."
