Cath had made a few stops before heading down to the meeting after speaking with Sean. He'd shown Ronnie where he'd found the blood, and answered what questions he could. Apparently, no more security had turned up. That wasn't bloody good.
After leaving Ronnie, he'd headed to the chapel in search of the priest. Sean had mentioned something about wanting the father at the meeting he was having. He'd left him a note, but Cath had already learned Father Peter had absolutely no idea how to use the computer or the community page. Which meant the priest would have completely missed the message. So he'd gone to collect him on his way.
He nodded to Sean as he entered. "Look what I've found, mate," he greeted wryly, indicating the priest with him.
The room was indeed rather posh, with its murals and carvings. He immediately recognized scenes from the Odessey and Iliad and depictions of Calliope. Somebody had a sense of humour, giving the reporter a room dedicated to the muse of epic poetry.
"Posh," he agreed out loud with the chef as he voiced his assessment of the room. He was still examining the murals as he replied to his other question. "Is there some decent whiskey in there?" No reason not to have a drink whilst waiting for the others.
He nodded to the lady as a greeting. "Might be a good idea," he agreed absently, his gaze still on the artwork on the walls. "But then, the closer everyone is, the more likely there'll be a bloody mess if someone goes insane and starts doing something mad."
